Annie’s Clearance Sale!
I have just spent a lot more time browsing than I had intended to. There are heaps of amazing bargains on some really great stuff. The variety of patterns and kits available to crochet always blows me away, but I couldn’t believe what I came across this time. I learnt to crochet because of what I saw my grandmother creating, and a lot of what she made was cotton lace doilies and table clothes. My grandmother’s name was Clarice and, incredibly, I have just come across a “Clarice Doily Crochet Kit” in the clearance catalogue!
The knitting section of the catalogue contains just as much variety as the crochet section. There is a wonderful selection of patterns, books, DVDs, and accessories. The needlework section also contains a great selection of cross stitch and embroidery patterns, plus a couple of DVDs, and includes a few ideas to put aside for when you start getting ready for Christmas.
I finished my browsing in the yarn section. What a lovely range of yarns, and there are some great prices. Sale time is always a good time to stock up your “stash” and ensure that you have supplies on hand when you need them. I have been working my way through some of my stocks over the last few months and it’s been fun to rediscover a few treasures I had forgotten were there.
I have only covered the sections here that I am most interested. There are a number of other sections in the catalogue covering sewing, quilting, fabrics, and various other hand crafts. So whether you are interested in knitting and crochet, or card making and scrap booking, or something completely different, I am sure you will find some great bargains to assist you in your creative endeavours.
Happy sale shopping everyone!
